  16. I. Minimum System Requirements

Although the software should run on any Windows 95 platform, we found that a Pentium 233 or AMD K6 233 with 32MB RAM was the slowest platform we had acceptable performance with.  Our software uses both 300DPI (dots per inch) and 150DPI images for sources and must load them into memory before printing.  These images alone can require around 50MB of memory.  If you have a 400MHz or faster PC with 128MB of RAM the performance hit we take due to the high quality of the processing disappears.

  20. That said, these are our official minimum system requirements:

  22.     Pentium 233MMX -or- K6-233 (or other equivalent)
  23.     32MB RAM
  24.     8X CD-ROM
  25.     Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/2000
  26.     35MB available hard drive space

  29. II. Known Issues

  31. There is an issue where after previewing several calendars, greeting cards or stationery, you may not be able to print through the software.  You may get an error message with [-3009] at the end of it in brackets.  The work around for now is to simply exit the application and restart and go and print your images.  If you are printing a calendar, your date adjustment settings are saved and will be restored so you should be able to go right in and print your calendar.

In the screen saver under Windows 95/98/ME if you have landscape image selected and have a password set you have get an error message about an access violation as the screen saver shuts down.  This has only been detected with the landscape style images (not portrait) and when there is a password set.  There is no current work around for this issue.

With an HP Inkjet printer if you adjust your printer properties (change your output DPI for instance) before printing something from the software you may get a prompt that asks if you want really want to cancel your print job.  You must click No in order to complete the print process.  Clicking Yes will cancel the print process.  There is no current work around for this issue.
